Preparing Living Horticultural Soil for Immediate Cultivation

COMPOSITION : SUBSTRAT HORTICOLE + LIFE + OCEAN CUSTOM

Étapes :

  1. Choose your complete soil based on your needs:

    • No-Till Foundation: Ideal for starting production with full cycles, anywhere.

    • No-Till Light: Optimized for seedlings, young plants in pots or trays, and mother plants.

  2. Mix ingredients:

    • Combine the Horticultural Substrate, Life, and Ocean Custom amendment in a container or on a suitable surface.

    • Carefully mix the three products provided in their recommended proportions.

  3. Watering :

    • Gradually water the mix with chlorine-free, contaminant-free water until it achieves a moist but not soggy texture.

  4. Mise en place directe :

    1. No-Till Light

      • The soil is ready to receive seedlings, young plants, or mother plants immediately.

    2. For No-Till Foundation:

      • For volumes < 50 L: Use immediately after hydration.

      • For volumes > 50 L: Let rest for 2 weeks (up to 8 weeks) in a shaded area with stable conditions to stabilize microbial activity.

  5. Apply organic mulch or a cover crop to protect the soil.

Practical Tips

For Maximum Fertility:

  • Follow the biological cycle of living soils:

    • Avoid turning, compacting, drying out completely, or over-watering the soil.

    • Maintain plant cover and/or organic mulch.

    • Water lightly and regularly to avoid drought or excessive moisture.

  • Synchronize with Lunar Cycles (byodynamic principes ):

    • Perform sowing, amendments, and harvesting based on lunar phases for greater efficiency.
